It is summer and we are all nervous about the heat. There are signs of how to detect issues with your HVAC in the early stages, before you are sitting in 104º calling us panicked.
Listen up for Unusual Noises
Grinding, banging, or squealing are not good sounds coming from your system. These could indicate mechanical problems that require attention- call us!
Monitor Performance
If you notice that your air conditioner is not cooling the room as efficiently as it used to (which should be quick), this could be a sign of a refrigerant leak or a faulty compressor. Call us for that too!
Address Leaking or Condensation Issues
Excessive moisture or leaks around your air conditioner can lead to water damage and mold growth and that is never good. Check for leaks, and if detected, have them fixed promptly.
Clean and Inspect Air Ducts
Dirty or blocked air ducts can impede airflow and reduce the efficiency of your system. Regularly clean and inspect the duct work to ensure proper ventilation.
