It is the much anticipated summer-time in Texas! We often times dread the heat, but forget the ways to enjoy it and embrace being a Texan. We put a little research and thought into things you can do with your kids this summer in Leander. Enjoy our research:
Public Pools
Robin Bledsoe Pool is open each year during the summer season (Memorial Day through Labor Day) and hosts water aerobics, swim lessons, Dive-In movies, poolside concerts, and other special events. The Splash Pad (with FREE admission) is open as well!
Tumlinson Pool, located in Tumlinson Park is a zero-entry pool – that means you step into ankle-deep water and the floor gradually descends to five feet in depth. The mushroom waterfall and newly-installed three-tiered slide are the biggest attractions for children. Vending machines, outdoor showers, lawn chairs and lots of shade make Tumlinson Pool ideal for a day of family fun. Tumlinson Pool is open May through September.
There is also a sight called Swimply that helps you find pools to rent by the hour!
